MacLeod Family Vineyard Wines are ready for your table..
Release date: April 2, 2009. Only 325 cases will be available.
Our 2006 release sold out quickly and we expect the same for our 2007 vintage. Intense aromas of raspberry, ripe blackberry and cranberry fruit dominate. On the palate, this wine is bright, well balanced, with a round mouth feel. Subtle layers of chocolate and vanilla support the typical Zinfandel berry flavors taht are wrapped around spice notes of black pepper, eucalyptus, clove and nutmeg.
Release date: May 15, 2008. Only a few cases remain...order now.
With even bigger aromas of apricot, Meyer lemon and pineapple than our 2006 Sauv Blanc, the flavor follows the aromas with a long, elegant finish
Release date: June 1, 2009. Only 500 cases will be available.
Our 2008 Sauvignon Blanc opens with stunning aromas of pineapple, pear, and green apple. Well balanced and clean on the palette, flavors of melon, pineapple, green apple and pear dominate along with a mineral note tyupical of Sonoma Valley AVA. The partial oak fermentation leads to a soft mouth-feel with an elegant and lingering finish.
Release date: July 1, 2008. Only 386 cases produced.
We have blended our Merlot with 5% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot from the Rockpile AVA. This has created a complex and layered wine of dark chocolate, red cherries, plum, blueberry and cinnamon. In November of 2008, this wine "opened" and has really begun to show its true style and character. This wine is delivious now and should continue to gain complexity for several years.

While most of our grapes are still sold to some of the region's top wineries, our small family wine business continues to grow. Our dream is to produce hand crafted wines that capture the MacLeod Family Vineyard terroir and our Family’s love of farming. Each vintage we produce is unique in flavors and texture that can only be derived from our hillside location. Because the unique terroir of our vineyard is a combination of climate, soils, variety and vineyard practice, each growing season has its special finger print. As we strive to produce terroir specific wines, we expect each of our wines to vary a bit from vintage to vintage. They all provide an exceptional bouquet of aromas and flavors that feature our exquisite terrior and our family commitment to quality.
