The whole MacLeod clan
When we began in 1974, there was nothing here but some ancient fruit trees, antique farming equipment,
acres of dry brown grass and, of course, plenty of rocks. Back then, our family consisted only of
ourselves and our four college and high school students, all sharing the same vision that someday, somehow, we were going to find a family ranch and plant a perfect vineyard. Since that time, working together as a team is a family tradition on every aspect of our ranch development from home building, to rock pickup, surveying, stake driving, vine planting, trellising, vine training and pruning. We are now a much larger group of 19, including the recent birth of the first member of the 4th generation, and we call ourselves “The Association”. Our family gatherings always include Association meetings where family decisions are usually made by consensus.
